I have been getting week 6 all published and written this morning. I don't write the program but I do compile the lessons to speak to the ways they will help the DCPL.
Thanks to GothpunkCountry girl. She caught my extra edition of about wikis. Sometimes cut and paste is just too simple. And I got carried away.
I think this program has been a success so far. I have started blogging about the assignments and it is helping me with the questions. Thanks for all your hard work and persistence.

Big Huge Labs! We have not gone to the dogs

I used big huge labs to create a magazine cover. I just didn't like the pictures on the trading cards. And besides, this photo screamed take me and abuse me. I am your puppet plaything. All that aside, I really just had to put Mr Shelton into something. He does belong in pictures...And not the one on the post office wall.
Any way here is my wonderful photo montage.

Week 4!
Week 4 is over and I am still exhausted. You guys keep me reading and on my toes. Some of you are seem to know the next lesson before I do. So I am still trying to keep up.
The flu hit our house last week. My son had it Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. My body saw fit to not succumb until Saturday. So the weekend in bed really put me behind. I am trying to catch up as best I can. I did get week 5 posted 12 hours late. Not bad.
I think the best part of this program so far for me has been contact with the staff. I get to talk with staff when something goes wrong with their computers. But rarely do I get to have upbeat learning conversations. It has been really fun for me to watch everyone's world open up online. I hope to keep these lines of communication open in the future.

Catch Up Sessions!
I have really enjoyed the catch up sessions. I have learned a lot of things on how to make this program better for staff and the technophobe. And that is what this is about. All of us learning together. If you think about the 20 things all in one big group it is overwhelming. That is why breaking them down into 2-3 things per week is OK.
I can tell some of you would rather have your wisdom teeth pulled than learn these things. Here is a secret. I have been sneaking some of these things into your daily life for months. I didn't know that we would be working on these 20 2.0 things.
How do you relax?
Does anybody paint? Do you knit? Crochet? Drive race cars? Ride horses?
Please leave a comment for me about how you like to relax.

- I like to listen to music and sit on my deck in the sun. It has been hard for me to find the sun and the time together lately. Maybe that is my grim mood. I will try to improve.
